A message from our Headteacher
I hope you and your families are safe and well on what would have been the start of the summer term..It has been lovely to hear from some of you over the Easter break and to see some of the activities the children been enjoying. School continues to be open for some children and the next home learning packs will start to be delivered during this week. Some children may find learning at home really difficult and I don't want this to add to your stress while we are in lock down; playing games, jumping and counting in 2,s, 5's, 10's, making an obstacle course in doors or outdoors if you have a garden, cooking are all learning opportunities.
If you are able to look online BBC bite size or the new online school www.national.academy/oak may have lessons your child might like to try.
As we start week 5 of lock down I really understand the stress of having to stay in, not seeing friends and family and for some less money- please do contact me if you need any support and I will do my best to help. I have attached 2 leaflets that might help too, they are called "How To Survive Lockdown 2020" and "Stress, Anxiety and Managing Difficult Behaviour".
Hopefully if we all continue to follow lock down some of the measures might be lifted in the not too distant future.
Please take care, I am thinking of you all
