We walked to the post office to conclude our topic reading Here Comes Mr Postmouse. We sent a parcel to another Year 1 class we wrote them letters and pictures :)

In Maths we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. We were printing using 3D shapes and exploring different faces we recognise

Children were reading 'oi' words in phonics and used Tricky Witch's cauldron to make a spell
In English we have been reading 'We're going on a bear hunt story' during outdoor learning children collected leaves to make a bed for the bear!
Year 1 were being palaeontologists today, digging for fossils like Mary Anning!
RE day! We learnt about the Christmas story, looked at the Bible, made a Christingle, created our own stained glass window and made a class Christmas wreath :)
Positive noticing day :) All children received a wristband nominated by a friend or adult in the classroom for something positive they have done today
Three Discovery Computing Workshop- We had lots of fun making a anti-bullying poster on iPads
