HOW WILL MY CHILD BE INCLUDED IN ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM INCLUDING SCHOOL TRIPS?
- Steps are taken to ensure all children are included in relevant trips/activities outside of the class that they feel comfortable and happy accessing unless doing so would endanger either themselves or others - when this is the case we work with parents to try and find solutions.
- Risk assessments are carried out.
- Teachers, TAs, parents and the SENCo work closely together to ensure all children regardless of SEND needs can still access the full range of the curriculum.
- If needed, 1:1 or very small groups are utilised for trips.
