We learn about ways in which living things and the environment need our protection and how we can recycle to help the environment.
We have an Eco-warrior who checks school at play and lunch times to ensure all lights and Interactive White Boards are turned off and computers are locked. She awards stickers to classes who have remembered to save electricity and every half term a class is chosen to receive the Eco trophy.
The police came to our school and helped us to pick up litter on our schools grounds. they spoke in assembly about why picking up litter is important to the environment.
