HOW IS SEND PROVISION EVALUATED?

  • We hold flagship status (the highest possible) for the Inclusion Quality Mark. As a result of this, we have annual external assessments where our whole school inclusive practice is evaluated.
  • Every term the following evaluations are carried out:
    Class teachers and Teaching Assistants are observed.
    The SENCo carries out inclusive class scrutinies, learning walks, work/planning scrutinies.
    Intervention impact is evaluated.
  • Pupil progress meetings are held half termly, to evaluate the impact of provision on both academic and social progress. 
  • Pupil voice is obtained weekly from children with SEN.
