HOW IS SEND PROVISION EVALUATED?
- We hold flagship status (the highest possible) for the Inclusion Quality Mark. As a result of this, we have annual external assessments where our whole school inclusion practice is evaluated and reported on.
- All Subject Leaders focus on SEND in their monitoring
- Every term the following evaluations are carried out:
Class teachers and Teaching Assistants are observed in learning walks by SLT
The SENCo carries out inclusive class scrutinies, learning walks, work/planning scrutinies with a focus on SEND provision
- Intervention impact is evaluated.
- Pupil progress meetings between SLT and class teachers (including the SENDCo) are held half termly, to evaluate the impact of provision on both academic and social progress.
- Pupil voice is obtained weekly from children with SEN.
