Autumn 1  

This term, our topic will be ‘Legions and Tribes’. Within this topic, in history, we will be learning in depth about the Romans – their timeline; where they came from; life of a Roman soldier and the impact of Romans on England.

Our Science topic this term is ‘Sound.’ Children will be taught to identify how sounds are made; recognise that vibrations from sounds travel through a medium to the ear; find patterns between the pitch of a sound and features of the object that produced it and recognise that sounds get fainter as the distance from the sound source increases.
