HOW ACCESSIBLE IS THE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT?
- Our governing body has written our Accessibility Plan in compliance with paragraph 3 of schedule 10 to the Equality Act 2010
- Our building is fully wheelchair accessible.
- Where appropriate, we order and utilise specialist equipment for those with a visual or hearing impairment.
- We have a welcome letter in a number of different languages to outline key messages and use picture signs, language buddies and a program to follow for children with little/no English. Our school website, which has a wealth of information for parents, has a translation option into many languages.
- We have a colour coded systems for letters i.e. green-there is a slip to be returned, blue-a formal letter, pink-school newsletter.
