Week commencing 13th July 2020

Our last week of this very strange term and of this school year.

Also my last week working in school - thank you for all the wonderful videos and photos you have sent during the lockdown time. It has been great to see what you have been doing at home.

Week commencing 6th July 2020

In school Year 5 have been investigating taste and one of the children did a taste test at home. There is a brilliant sandcastle, a river trip, some writing and number work, beautiful 'Sharing a Shell' pictures and an amazing obstacle course video.

I have uploaded 3 videos now - In Year 5 this week we have been designing our dream den and one of our children learning at home made a video of the amazing den they built. 'Yo Ho Ho!' - we have a brilliant pirate song. We have a fantastic Roman catapult too.

Week commencing 22nd June 2020

As we welcome more of you back into school, I am getting fewer photos sent from home. Instead of making a new slideshow for every day, I will make a weekly one and will add photos to it as I receive them.

There is a great design for a bug house and a book review on Handa's Surprise - try to read it if you haven't for a while - and lots of animal work too.

Friday 19th June 2020

Today there has been some lovely work sent in. Some of you have been working on how many positive things you can think of about yourselves and drawing maps of your hearts - we did lots of work on these in school too. Some of you have made some lovely Father's Day cards ready for Sunday, more work on the Junior Leadership challenge and some of you went on a 'wet wellie walk'! There is also a clip of homemade lava lamps.

Have a lovely weekend.

On the videos you can see the rainbow song, a Skittles experiment, teeth brushing and making a bird feeder - make sure you watch them all.

Monday 15th June 2020

In case you have noticed I did skip Friday's update as I didn't have much to go on, so anything that was sent after I went home on Thursday has been uploaded today.

You have been busy making models of landmarks- there is even a human recreation of the Sphinx. There is a great Skittles experiment, a mini beast hunt as well as a letter to residents in a care home to cheer them up and lots more.

Keep up the hard work!
